CDL Driver
Capps Home Building Center – Altavista is seeking a CDL Driver for our Altavista location.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Deliver and pick-up materials according to assigned delivery schedule and procedures, following all safety guidelines and best practices.
- Ensuring daily vehicle and equipment maintenance/safety check lists are completed.
- Checking loads prior to departure for accuracy.
- Knowledge of product on trucks and ensuring safe delivery to customer.
- Providing professional and friendly service to the customer
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of High School Graduation
- Previous driving history with building supply company with CDL license.
- Driving license acceptable in by insurance carrier.
- Ability to tolerate physical and mental stress job demands
- Previous experience operating truck with piggy-back forklift or millwork delivery box truck preferred.
- Basic record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of construction building materials preferred.
